"My greatest inspiration is nature, which I believe is the original basis of beauty for humankind. From this comes our idea of composition and balance. Nature inspires the color and light in my work and replenishes my sense of creativity. It is of deep concern to me that society is becoming disconnected from that which we are a part and completely dependant upon. My work celebrates the relationship between humans and the natural world, and also the diversity and the creativity of each individual. Soft, organic lines of the feminine figure become the conduit for communicating what I believe is an innate desire of all people: gentle strength."
