All Fees are based on a rate of $65 per hour plus travel (when over 15 miles) and materials.

Garden coaching is an on going, one-on-one training for those who want to work in their gardens but need help with where to begin.  Coaching includes hands-on learning such as understanding the soil and climate conditions and microclimates within your garden; recognizing the plants in your garden and their cultural needs;  recognizing pests and diseases and how to control them.  A regular schedule will be set up according to your needs and desires.

Consultations are individual visits of two or more hours for those who wish to make changes to their garden but are not quite sure what or how.  Services can range from determining the health of a plant and finding a solution, (or referring you to an expert such as an arborist), to seeing you through a do-it-yourself renovation of your garden.

Planting designs can be a great, less costly way to renovate an older garden, by updating the look or replacing tired plants that are not doing well.  Converting a traditional garden to a native or drought tolerant can save you lots of time and money while reducing -- or off-setting your carbon footprint. Careful thought is given to the needs of the client and microclimates of the space to insure the success of the garden.   Depending on the size of the space, planting designs can range from $350 to $2000 + and will include some alternative plants choices and resources for their purchase.  Plant purchasing and placing is a service we can provide at an additional cost.

Full landscape designs are for those who want a whole new garden with new hardscape or structures.  You will receive complete drawings that are ready for you and/or your contractors to read.   Additionally we can assist you on the steps to take in completing the process.  Full designs can range from $1200 for a very small property, to $3000 or more depending on the size and scope of the project.
