Before: A small patio area off of a golf course needs a little sprucing.

A local craftsman uses reclaimed redwood to build custom planters,

A project with Vera Rose Gardens

Problem: 

This hillside under planting in this lovely woodland garden never thrived and visiting animals created erosion. 

Solution: use boulders to create naturalistic terracing to the reduce run-off and fill with shade loving plants to hold soil in place.  To the existing ferns and large Maple overhead we added California barberry, Heuchera maxima and H. crimson curls, Coffee berry, Catalina perfume,  and Pink flowering currant.
